ComicHost is a place for you to upload homemade comics for free. This means you will never have to pay to host or access your comics.
ComicHost is run solely by me (one individual) and has no financial backing from a major company so I pay the bills myself. Money comes in through advertisements and donations.
You are free to upload any comic that is made by you or made by someone you have permission from. Ignoring this rule will result in deleting of the account and any uploaded comic by this account.

First off; Who are you?
I am the father of ComicHost, creator of all that is good. My name is Krijn and I live in The Netherlands. Is that the reason my English is so crappy? Exactly.
Why is the layout so ugly?
Well that is easy to explain. I suck at designing. The backend of ComicHost is really good, but the frontend :X. Anyway as soon as I have accumulated enough funds I'll hire a designer. Yes really, I'm not just gonna run of with the donated money.
So what are you gonna do with the money?
Well as I said; the first thing I'm going to do is hire a designer. Then when I have enough money I'm going to buy a dedicated or colocated server. After that I'm going to buy more. If there is a steady income of money I'll make a company of ComicHost and hire some serveradmins and coders. So yeah, Your money is put to good use. Please bare in mind that I will NEVER make ComicHost for paying members only. I hate that myself.
What can I upload?
You may upload any homemade (so you made them yourself) comic. It can be done on paper, tablet, Photoshop or even Microsoft Paint. As long as you made it yourself and it is not a photo, screenshot, etc.
Can I post them on other websites?
Hotlinking is allowed. However I cannot guarantee that I'll *never* put a ComicHost logo or something on the hotlinked images. At this moment I do not.
Can I help?
Sure you can! The thing that will help the most is donating. However I do know that not all people are bathing in Champagne so there are other ways to help. When you donate you get some 'credit'. Do not really look at it as credit though. It's more or less just some switch 'donated yes/no'. When you have donated the minimum amount (see donating page) you'll get some extra stuff. The other way to get that switch flipped is by helping me out. I'm always looking for translation. I want to translate ComicHost in any language available to more than 10.000 people. If you have translated the texts the language will be made available on ComicHost. So if you can translate you get some credit. If you have some good ideas or you can otherwise help me out: please feel free to contact me. Translators are very welcome. For now just use the abuse form as I look at that often. If you see some errors in the translations (even English) please do the same.
